Desi Bajri Atta

Shasya Desi Bajri Atta is milled from sun-ripened pearl millet grown in the sandy fields of western Rajasthan. It is ground slow on a chakki so the bran and germ stay in, giving you the deep, nutty flavour that Rajasthani homes have trusted for generations. Use it for soft bajre ki roti with ghee and gud, khichda in winter, rabdi in summer, or churma laddu on festive days.

Make with it: Bajre ki Roti, Bajra Khichda, Bajre ki Rabdi, Bajra Churma Laddu, Bajra Dalia.

• 100% desi pearl millet, nothing mixed in
• Stone-ground, bran and germ kept in
• Whole grain, nothing refined
• Traditional winter staple of Marwar
• Milled in small batches
• Sourced direct from farming families

Knead with warm water a little at a time; bajra dough has no gluten, so press the roti between palms or on a wet cloth. Cook on a hot iron tawa and finish directly on the flame. Serve with white butter, gud and lehsun chutney.

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry and hygienic place. Best before 3 months from the date of packing.

Declarations as required under the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 and FSSAI regulations. In case of any difference, the details printed on the pack prevail.
